Maddox has decided to start being a little mischevious a tad bit early. After months of being head down, this crazy boy has decided to turn breech. He was head down at my ultrasound on Thursday and breech at my ultrasound Saturday. Unfortunately a c-section is in my future. I guess this might be Heavenly Father's way of making sure Maddox gets here safely. I'm a bit disappointed, but I'm sure I'll adjust. I was hoping to be able to at least try the other way, but it might have ended in a c- section anyway. Now we can skip all the contractions and go straight to the Operating room. Thank goodness my honey is here to be with me. Wednesday's the day!! What a week this will be!

So glad Jeff is there with you now. Must be so nice. I don't know much about births, but maybe Maddox will turn again before Wed.??
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I was reading through the September Ensign today. On page two, at the bottom, it calls for submissions. They are looking for people to send in their stories about prayer and how they have been blessed by praying or by the prayers of others (feeling the effects of others' prayers). I immediately thought of you. If you feel inclined to share your story, the submission deadline is Oct. 30th. I figure you'll be a bit busy from now until then...but thought I'd mention it just in case. :) You can submit it through ensign.lds.org. They need it labeled "prayer", and they need your name, address, phone #, email address, ward, and stake. They will let you know if they choose yours to publish. Again, this is just in case you want to. :) Thinking about you and praying for your family!

I can't believe he turned!! Must be all that fluid in there helping him swim around? Well, maybe he'll flip again. I hope everything goes smoothly on Wednesday for you!

ReplyDeleteHey! I hear today's the day! I just wanted to let you know that we have you and Maddox in our hearts and prayers! I've had two c-sections and they aren't that bad. (first unplanned) the recovery is a bit harder but just start walking as soon as you can, like even that first day, even if it's just a couple steps in and out of the room, and you'll get through it faster. Hang in there@ I know you will be blessed, as well as your sweatheart Maddox.
ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning just nervous and thinking about you guys. I hope that by now, Maddox has arrived and you can begin to see what the next leg of the journey will entail. I am so sorry if you indeed had to go through with the C section. That was a big fear of mine. It is one thing to have a C section under normal circumstances, but quite different when you have no time to worry about your own recovery, instead focusing all energy on Maddox. I will keep checking in today for updates in hopes that Jeff will post something in the middle of all of the craziness today! Good luck! Prayers are with you guys always!
