  1. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE MIRACLE! These pictures say it all! And this is a result of the promptings of listening to the spirit and the faith that followed those promptings.

No matter what happens with Baby Maddox in future days you both have experienced a special power of creation and the experience of working together just as my son and daughter-in-law have recently experienced. Of course, the two situations have outcomes that turned out quite a bit different. But, they were both led by creation, inspiration and wholesome power. In both instances conscious decisions had to be made for the best outcomes possible.

Both situations have given us all pause to be thankful for doctors and nurses and what can be accomplished in a safe and judicious manner. Hopefully, these experiences help to keep them close to the spirit of the Lord and help them to achieve the measure of their own creation in a manner pleasing to our Heavenly Father, also. I am sure you have touched the individual lives of the doctors and nurses and helped them to feel. This may continue for you both for quite sometime. Only God knows why we are in these situations.

May the peace of the spirit of the Lord be with you daily and help you along the path with your daily tasks.

Ya'll don't really know me very well. Our family lives a couple of hours south of you. I do believe we may have met at a "special" wedding of two very special people. I am Jason's mom --Kara's mother-in-law. As I have been checking their blog I have, also, been following your blog because of baby Maddox's situation.

Peace and daily prayers go out to everyone of you . . . including Grandpa & Grandma Dixon and the other grandparents. (It seems that they have a lot going on with their extended families too.)

  4. He's just so precious Allyssa! Thank yo for keeping us updated and for posting pictures of your little Overcomer!!

You all are continuously on my heart and in my prayers. You have been through so much and I know that there is still much more to come... I pray that your days are filled with sweet moments of laughter, joy, peace and rest. I pray also for your other precious three, that they would experience so much of God's supernatural grace through this difficult patch. And will continue to pray for Healing and Restoration for baby Maddox.

  6. Dear Alissa and Jeff, Maddox is such a beautiful boy. I read your earlier post and things sound very, very tough for all of you. I am so sorry to hear about your nephew who has passed away. There is nothing I can say to do this pain justice. I can only say I am so sorry and there is no rational that makes these tragedies make sense.
I hope you are feeling God's arms around all of you during these hard days.
From our experience and that of other families who have been in similar shoes, the first year is the hardest. It is a 'new normal" as they say.
I hope the reflux and/or pain issue is improved for Maddox.
I'll be checking back and hope to find things improving.
Pleas, let us know if we can be of any help as foundation or a family who has been there.
Lots of good thoughts your way :)
